    Hatching Chicks (updated September 28)

     This morning we went up to see the incubator that is keeping chick eggs safe and warm.






















    The thermometer helps us know the eggs are the right temperature.
    Several chicks have already hatched.  Most of the eggs are still waiting to hatch on the top of the incubator.

    Friday Performance Details

    Friday morning we are having the Once Upon a Lily Pad Performance.  This is September 30th at 8:00 in the morning.

     Please see the below costume requirements and wear them this Friday.  You do not need to change back into a school uniform after this.  I assume you should still bring your things for swimming.

      Geography Bowl 2016

      We will be having a grade two Geography Bowl October 6, Thursday, at 11:10 - 11:45.  The topics will be introduced in class, but students and families are encouraged to pursue these topics at home to get ready for the competition.  I will soon be placing students into small teams for the competition.

      Headphones with Microphone

      Dear Parents,

      A great new website the kids are now using, SmartyAnts, requires a microphone for grade two.  This allows the kids to record and listen to their reading.  Please send a pair of headphones with microphone to school.  They can also use this microphone to record books while they are using Raz-Kids.
